The ladies of my family taught me to be exquisite – to exude femininity, elegance, and grace.

I began Be Exquisite during a trying time. During that time, these posts were my notes to self – daily reminders to remember, celebrate, and never forget who I am – a feminine black woman. Leaning on the wisdom of my elders was just the comfort that I needed . . . and continue to need.

I’ve since moved past that rough spot but along the way I met some like minds and managed to help some others.

All is well that ends well!

And in this spirit, Be Exquisite is changing to be more inclusive of its readers. Sharing ideas and inspiring other women to embrace their own femininity is pretty cool. More please :)

So, while I can present posts on a varying topics that interest me, it is much more effective for the new purposes of BE that these posts interest you, its readers. So, please let me know your thoughts and leave comments.

You define yourself. Embrace your femininity. Stand apart from the harpies.
